ABOUT ME

I am a frequent speaker to practitioner audiences in Sweden, China, Hong Kong, and the UK. As a consultant, I offer services to companies in Greater China, Sweden, and the UK helping them with strategy reviews, growth, market entry, growth, etc.

I run open innovation workshops with multinational firms helping them to address complex strategic challenges. As a Lecturer in Strategic Management at Lancaster University Management School, I teach topics such as Strategic Change and Strategic Management to MSc, MBA, Executive MBA, and PhD students.

I have led research projects on the strategic management of high-growth firms, management practice innovations, and the organizing of digitalization in industrial firms.

My research has appeared in journals like British Journal of Management, International Business Review, and Long Range Planning.

"Extant research focuses on how human or social capital gained through the recruitment of talent at a given point in time contribute to firm performance or competitiveness. Hence, prior studies take an entitative approach to the concept of capital, viewing it as a resource with certain qualities that remain unchanged over time. We address this misconception by taking a processual practice-based approach to recruitment."
